Legacy Tattoo and Art is more than just a tattoo studio, it started with a simple thought. But that thought mixed with action created something so much bigger than ourselves, bigger than me and Broc, bigger than the team within the walls. We started in 2020 in the heart of the pandemic, but while it seemed like the world may burn a beautiful idea came to light.
Legacy is more than just a business – it’s a way of life. Our mission is to break boundaries and kill the stigma that hovered over the industry we love. We put together a team of like-minded artists who not only crave personal growth but strive to positively impact the people in the communities around them. Our goal is not just to tattoo art onto skin, but also to help people express themselves through permanent ink. In our shop, we create beautiful works of art while helping clients cope with difficult times.

The Job

The amazing group of tattoo artists at Legacy Art Co. needed to have a website, with the ability to sell merchandise. This was an issue because they wanted to start promoting t-shirts, hats, and sweatshirts as soon as possible, as well as bolster their appointments and consultations for tattoo and piercing work. In order to showcase their storefront and build a following, they contacted Driving Cap. A fully functioning digital presence, with multiple offsite links, was key, along with a fast website that had a cohesive look to match their social media. With these capabilities in mind, Driving Cap got started!

The Results

Legacy Art Co. went thru three separate website designs to make sure the look and feel were a perfect fit for their tattoo shop’s brand. We gave the guys some fantastic insight as to their plans for the overall feel of the website. Something clean, yet focused, and very user-friendly. They loved the idea and gave Driving Cap Digital a lot of creative freedom in the design and launch process.
Content development was done during the website’s building process, so content added to the website was appropriate and helped reach timeline goals for the build. Simultaneously, our SEO Gurus developed keywords and imagery to boost the performance of the site on all search engines.
The end result was a fast, mobile-friendly site, with a bit of custom coding to make sure every aspect of the site worked perfectly.  The online store grossed over $1000 in just the first month and continues to provide a great additional source of revenue.
