About HourCast.

Hourcast is a Boston-based Hard Rock band that made their mark in the music industry with their debut album, “State of Disgrace,” released in the summer of 2006 under Alkamedia Records. The band’s formation began when drummer Jerry Clews and guitarist Dave Henriquez started collaborating on song ideas with Michall Ellenhart, Synth and Electronics. After a careful selection process, vocalist Patrick McBride was selected. Finally, the addition of bassist Dave Sullivan completed the lineup. Hourcast has been diligently working on new material, with a new release expected soon. Fans eagerly anticipate this upcoming album, eagerly awaiting the band’s next chapter in their rock journey. Hourcast’s journey from their debut album to their evolving sound in “Dystopia” illustrates their dedication to their craft and their commitment to delivering powerful and captivating rock music to their fans.

The Job

HourCast, one of the biggest bands to come from the early 2000s, had a website that lapsed. This became a huge issue because they wanted to start promoting merchandise, such as hoodies and shirts, as soon as possible. They also wanted to showcase new music videos on their YouTube channel. Driving Cap stepped in and helped with every aspect!

The Results

After talking with the band, Driving Cap Digital knew how to help. We began right away on a new, custom website, with a full eCommerce store to sell their merchandise. In addition, we amplified their presence on social media, including Facebook, Instagram, and especially YouTube. We paired with the drummer, Jerry Clews, and began creating and marketing music videos.
With this partnership, things began moving extremely fast! The website’s organic growth has been amazing. The custom music videos and marketing campaigns have helped earn Driving Cap, and HourCast, a YouTube Silver Award, for hitting over 100,000 subscribers!
Content development, including copywriting, was done during the website’s building process, so content added to the website was appropriate and helped reach timeline goals for the build. The end result was a brilliant and custom website that exceeded every goal!
